Easter is one of the most important dates in the Irish calendar, next to Christmas and St.Patricks Day. In Ireland preparation for Easter usually begins on the first day of Lent, forty days before Easter Sunday. Traditionally, during Lent, Irish people would stop eating meat but would also quit something they cherish. In Ireland, this is a time of self-discipline and reflection on what Irish people have to be thankful for but also a time for Irish families to come together.
During this time, our warehouse transforms into a chocolately haven, piled high with Easter Eggs and golden bunny rabbits. Gifting Easter Eggs of course, is an age old tradition which we cater for with many of our Easter hampers including a variety of chocolate eggs for children or simply, the child at heart. However, at Baskets Galore we say less is never more! We say, why be predictable when you can be exceptional! So why gift an egg when you can gift an egg and then some!
This year Easter Sunday falls on April 4th marking the end of Lent in Ireland, and usually turns into a grand celebration. So why not make it that extra bit special this year, by gifting one of our exquisite Easter Gift Baskets.
