Terms & Conditions
Any use of the BasketsGalore.ie website is subject to the user agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.
These conditions shall apply to all online transactions between BasketsGalore.ie (“Ciseáin Go Leor”) and any person, firm or company (“the Purchaser”) placing an order online with Ciseáin Go Leor for the manufacture and/or supply of any goods (“the Goods”). Ciseáin Go Leorby accepting any order for Goods from the Purchaser, agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to purchase such Goods at the price stated on BasketsGalore.ie website and on the sole basis of the terms and conditions of Ciseáin Go Leor stated herein.

All prices quoted on this site are in Euro. We accept online payments by all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. You may also pay 'offline' via Bank Transfer.
A credit account may be opened by corporate clients, subject to trade references and application approval, on the strict condition that payment is made within 30 days from date of invoice. Please contact us for more information.
In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website,Ciseáin Go Leor reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price. The customer will be notified by email informing them of the correct price, and given the choice to proceed with the order.
Basketsgalore.ie uses Geotrust's Secure's eBusinessID Web Server Certificate. Payments are submitted online using protocol 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the strongest commercially available level of encryption.
To view the Security certificate confirming this, you will see a padlock in your browser status bar, or next to the address bar on the page where you enter your credit card details, which indicates that the encryption is taking place. Clicking on this padlock symbol will display the certificate details, including issuing company and validity dates.
Nevertheless, if you prefer, we also offer you the option of submitting your order by telephone on +353 (0)1 657 1935. Our customer service lines are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (GMT). All calls are charged at the standard national rate.
All payments are securely processed by world class Elavon Merchant Services, Europe’s largest & most trusted processor and acquirer of credit and debit card transactions.
All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate, and the recipient's telephone number. We cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient's address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered, when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at that address.
It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the gift, which will be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up from the local depot, or agree an alternative delivery time or alternative location at the discretion of the courier. If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to us and a charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address. The purchaser will also be charged for any items, which have become unsuitable for sale and need replacing such as perishable items such as cheese and fruit which have short shelf lives.
We employ third-party courier services to execute delivery. Although customers can request a specified delivery day, times or dates cannot always be guaranteed. During peak seasons such as Christmas, delivery may be a day or two either side of your preferred date. Next day delivery may not be possible for all locations and/or addresses. Our delivery fee is a flat rate, and no additional charges are applied for a next day service. In the event that delivery is not made within 24 hours, due to a problem encountered in the delivery network, a refund will not apply. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 15 days.
Returns, Refunds, Cancellations & Damages
We are dedicated in ensuring all our gifts arrive with you in perfect condition. In the rare event of a gift being damaged, please contact us within 3 days by telephone, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Damaged Goods must be returned to us suitably packaged. We will replace or refund the items concerned.
Unwanted or unsuitable goods can be returned within 7 working days of receipt, as long as the goods are in perfect condition, and the packaging remains in an “as new” state. Both the despatch and return costs will be the customer’s responsibility, and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged or faulty goods. We recommend using a reliable insured courier, or registered post, to return the item. In accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling, perishable goods or customised goods made according to custom specifications may not be returned.
Please contact us by telephone, or email us at email@example.com to let us know that you would like to return an item. You will then need to print and fill out our Returns Form and return it with the unwanted item. All returns must be packaged to prevent damage, with the Returns Form enclosed. After we have received the goods, a refund will be made to the purchaser's credit card.
In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive you have the right to cancel the contract up to 7 working days starting the day after delivery. In this situation please contact us to let us know you would like to cancel your order and then please return the goods to us. The goods must be unused, in perfect condition, & in their original packaging.
You may cancel an order up to 24 hours before the requested delivery date. However, if we receive notice of your cancellation later than 24 hours before the delivery date, you may be too late to halt the delivery. To cancel your order if the goods have already been dispatched, you must notify our customer services team by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for carriage, handling charges or unusable content in the event of a failed delivery caused by the supply of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, or if the end receiver fails to respond to contact attempts to arrange/ reschedule delivery by either our delivery agent or ourselves.
Whilst every effort is made to supply items as specified, the contents of each gift are subject to availability. Ciseáin Go Leor reserves the right to substitute any items where appropriate, and guarantee that all replacements are of equal or greater value. Plates, glasses and other props shown in photographs may not be included in a hamper unless specifically listed. Wine vintages and labels may vary from those shown.
Sale of Alcohol Items containing alcohol can only be ordered and delivered to those 18 years of age and over.
Ciseáin Go Leor will exercise every reasonable effort to meet the requested delivery date. We shall not, however, be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the Purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, failure or delays in transportation, embargoes, wars or riots.
At Ciseáin Go Leor we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. At no time will we provide any information about you to third parties. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Only by signing up for our newsletter will you receive emails other than correspondence regarding your order. We promise that we will send no more than 6 emails per calendar year. You have the option to remove your name from our mailing list at any time by sending an email to email@example.com
This website uses 'session' cookies which are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the website. These cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you and your visit. You may choose to disable cookies in your web browser privacy settings in which case it will not affect your visit to our website or affect your online shopping activities.
How we store information
We use a secure server (SSL) to encrypt all of your payment information. We use strong security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of your information once it is in our records.

Any comments you have will be welcomed by us, taken very seriously and treated in the strictest confidence and dealt with immediately. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and give you a timescale for resolving your complaint and keep you informed of progress.

Please don’t ask us as we just can’t do it.
Please, don’t place an order because the shopping cart says.
Please don’t place an order and then send us an email.
Please don’t think the shopping cart is broken because it only allows you to pick one date, order and then email us to advise us that it must be broken.
Currently we are able to deliver baskets up to a week before our estimate. (see Weekly Schedule Updates on our Blog) We do not expect to deliver later than when the shipping calendar advises.
There is a National Lockdown ongoing in not only Ireland and UK, but much of the world. It restricts the ability of businesses to function fully and normally.
Under normal circumstances we will do our very best to organise delivery on the day of your choosing, we have staff to intervene and track and we dispatch every day. but currently it isn’t possible. There are a wide variety of reasons why we cant operate such a service. Social distancing and safe working guidelines have changed everything.
Our shipping calendar only allows you to pick the latest day you are happy to have your order delivered by. We take great care in underpromising and overdelivering. This gives all shoppers a choice whether to accept the lead time or shop elsewhere.
