We deliver our Gift Baskets & Hampers throughout Ireland, Europe and Great Britain.  We offer three delivery options: Next Day (24 hours), Standard (48 hours), and Christmas Delivery.
You’re very welcome to order in advance - simply choose your preferred delivery date from the calendar, select the Standard or Christmas option, and your order will be reserved.

Delivery Options

We offer the following 3 delivery options; 'Next Day/24 Hrs' and 'Standard/48Hrs'' and 'Christmas Delivery.'  You are welcome to order in advance by selecting a preferred date from the calendar and choosing the Standard delivery option.  

Next Available Day Delivery €11.99: 
The order deadline for express delivery is 2pm GMT Monday to Friday. 
Orders placed after this time, at weekends and on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day with delivery scheduled for the following working day. 
Remote locations may take an extra day. 

Standard/Specific Day Delivery €8.99:
Select this option if your order is non urgent.
Delivery will be made in 48 hours, and you can select a date from the calendar.
Or choose a future date if you wish to order ahead of time for Christmas, or special occasion.

Christmas Delivery €8.99: 
Specified delivery dates cannot be guaranteed in December. We operate a weekly delivery schedule.
Friday 5th, 12th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd Dec are the available dates in the calendar during checkout. Your chosen date is the LATEST date your order will be delivered that week, it may be on or before it.  We react to the info. provided by our courier partners at this very busy time to ensure all gifts arrive in time for Christmas.

Gifts are sent via a fully trackable, signed for courier service.  You will receive dispatch and delivery status updates via email.  Delivery will be made between normal working hours Monday to Friday.  Delivery at specific times is not possible. Saturday delivery may occur during the peak Christmas season, but is entirely dependent on the courier.  Delivery on Sunday and Bank Holidays is not possible.

Christmas Delivery

During the Christmas period, we do everything possible to deliver on or as close to your chosen date. However, due to the exceptionally high volume of orders and the strain on courier networks nationwide, deliveries may occasionally arrive a few days earlier or later than your selected date.

At checkout please select the 'Christmas Delivery' option.  We follow a weekly delivery schedule in December. The available delivery dates during checkout are Friday 5th, 12th, 19th, 22nd and 23rd December.
Please note that Friday is the latest possible delivery date for that week - your gift may arrive on or before it.
We work closely with our courier partners and adjust our schedule as needed to make sure all gifts arrive in time for Christmas.

Due to high seasonal demand, we recommend placing your order early to secure your preferred gift. Simply select your desired delivery date from the calendar, and we’ll hold your order until then.

Please rest assured that our team works tirelessly throughout this busy season to ensure every gift basket is prepared, packed, and dispatched as quickly as possible. You’ll receive a dispatch notification by email once your order leaves our warehouse,  including tracking details so you can follow its progress.

Please note: Deliveries outside the EU may be subject to local customs duties or import fees upon arrival.  These are determined by the destination country’s customs authorities, and unfortunately, we have no control over them.  To assist with smooth customs clearance, all parcels are clearly marked as ‘Gifts’, giving them the best chance of prompt delivery.

Delivery Information Requirements

To ensure your order is processed and delivered without delay, please make sure you have provided the following two essential details:

1. Recipient’s Telephone Number

A valid local telephone number for the recipient is required to assist our courier in the event of any delivery issues.

The courier will only call the recipient if there is a problem making delivery.

Please include a mobile number instead of a landline where possible.

A LOCAL contact number must be provided, couriers cannot make international calls.

Example: An Irish courier cannot contact a UK phone number.

We cannot accept responsibility for failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or non-local telephone number.

2. Correct Delivery Address (Including Eircode / Postcode / Zip Code)

Please ensure the full delivery address is entered correctly, including the Eircode for addresses in Ireland.

To make this easier, we have provided a free Eircode Finder link at checkout.

If you are ordering from outside Ireland and are unsure of the Eircode, please:

Enter the address exactly as you know it, and

Use 0000 in place of the Eircode.

Our team will verify the address on your behalf and contact you if any clarification is needed.

Providing these details accurately helps us and our couriers deliver your gift basket quickly, safely, and to the correct recipient.

What happens if no-one is at home when delivery is attempted?

Most couriers (DPD) now offer contactless delivery, meaning the driver will usually knock and leave the parcel safely at the door. A photo may be taken to show where it was left.

If you’ve provided the recipient’s mobile number, they’ll receive a text message before delivery and another confirmation once it’s been delivered. Having a local contact number is really helpful in case the driver needs directions or help accessing the property.

Some couriers (such as DHL) still need a signature.  So if you know they will not be at home, we recommend sending your gift to an address where someone will be present, or to a work address to make sure someone is available to receive it. Drivers aren’t able to leave parcels unattended if no one’s home.

If delivery isn’t possible, the courier will leave a calling card with details on how to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel from their local depot. If a mobile phone number has been provided they will receive this information via SMS text.  The recipient will need to contact the courier directly to make new arrangements.

Because deliveries are made by independent couriers, we’re unable to pass on requests such as “deliver after 4pm” or “call before delivery.” 

To make things easier for our customers, we provide a complimentary in-house delivery tracking service for every order. Our team monitors each delivery, steps in if any issues arise, and assists the recipient to ensure the gift arrives as quickly and smoothly as possible.

During the Christmas period, however, the exceptionally high volume of orders means that we’re unable to track each parcel individually. Instead, you’ll receive automatic delivery tracking updates by email for your convenience.

Order Tracking

Once your gift has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking link.  You can use this link to follow the progress of your delivery in real time.

If you created an account during checkout, you can also log in at any time to access your tracking details. Simply click “Track My Order” - this will take you directly to the courier’s website, with your tracking code automatically entered.

We do our very best to monitor all deliveries in-house to ensure everything arrives smoothly.  However, during exceptionally busy periods such as Christmas, it isn’t always possible for us to track every parcel individually.  We kindly ask customers to keep an eye on their delivery using the tracking link provided and to contact us if any issues arise, so we can assist you promptly.

Fresh Fruit, or Perishable Food orders

All smoked salmon and cooked meats are vacuum packed and freshly prepared on the date of despatch. We incorporate gourmet chilled food parcels so that everything remains cool in transit. Baskets containing fresh/perishable produce or fresh fruit will not be dispatched on Friday, as the next available delivery date is not until Monday. There is the option to substitute fresh fruits with sundried fruits for Monday delivery - we will contact you via email and offer this option.

Delivery to Public Buuildings inc. Companies, Hospitals, Hotels & Universities

Deliveries to Public Buildings

When sending a gift to a public building such as a hotel, conference centre, hospital, company building, school, university or it's halls of residence, please note that couriers usually deliver to a main reception, concierge, or post room, rather than directly to the recipient. 

We recommend contacting them before placing your order, to check their parcel delivery policy.  Some hospitals, including Cork University, only accept deliveries to 'goods inward' and must include a PO number.

Once a parcel has been delivered and signed for by staff at this central point, our part of the delivery is complete.  From there, the parcel is handled internally by the hotel or hospital team, and unfortunately, we have no control over how quickly it reaches the intended person.

If a gift appears delayed within the building, we’ll always do our best to help locate it, but our guarantee ends once delivery to the main reception or mail room has been confirmed.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

Recipient Not Available

If no one is available at the delivery address to receive the gift, our courier will do one of the following:

Send a text message to the recipient with instructions on how to rearrange delivery.

Leave a calling card with details on how to book a new delivery.

Provide collection details for the nearest delivery depot.

At this stage, it becomes the recipient’s responsibility to arrange re-delivery or collection directly with the courier.

If the parcel is not collected within three days, it will be returned to us. A redelivery fee will then apply at twice the original delivery cost, as we are charged for both the return and re-shipment of parcels.

Please note that if a redelivery is requested, the purchaser will also be charged for any perishable items that have spoiled and require replacement (e.g. fresh fruit, cheeses, or meats).

Recipient Contact Information

All orders must include a valid contact telephone number for the recipient. This allows our courier to reach them directly if there are any delivery issues.
We cannot accept responsibility for failed deliveries resulting from missing, incomplete, or incorrect contact information.

Perishable Goods and Refused Deliveries

Due to the perishable nature of our food hampers, customers are responsible for any refused deliveries, unless the goods are damaged on arrival.

If a hamper or parcel is returned to us, the customer may be liable for any shipping or courier costs incurred. In such cases:

We will refund the cost of the order once the goods have been received back.

If the return is due to an incorrect or incomplete address or missing contact details, the original shipping cost, the return delivery cost, and any restocking fees (where applicable) will be deducted from the refund total.

Non Delivery Policy

Ciseáin Go Leor Ltd reserves the right to refund up to 50% of the original order value in the event of non-delivery due to any of the following:

An incorrect or incomplete address or recipient information supplied by the purchaser.

The recipient refusing to accept the parcel.

The courier attempting delivery but no one being available to sign for the parcel.

The courier attempting to contact the recipient for directions without success (e.g. for hard-to-locate addresses).

Delivery Delays and External Factors

We make every effort to ensure all orders are fulfilled and delivered within the stated timeframes. However, events beyond our control (such as severe weather, courier delays, or system disruptions) may occasionally affect delivery schedules.

If a delay occurs, we will contact you by email to advise you and arrange an alternative solution where possible. If we are unable to fulfil your order, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Please note that as deliveries are handled by third-party couriers, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal or courier systems.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Frequently Asked Delivery Questions

Q: Can I place an order now but select a later delivery date? I want to order a hamper now but I don't need it delivered right away?
A: Yes. There is a place on the order form where you can enter your preferred delivery date which can be anytime in the future.

Q: If I don't want my basket to arrive in 24 Hours or in 2/3 Days why does it still cost €8.99. Why does it not cost less?
A: This is our lowest Post & Packaging charge. It covers the delivery, insurance, packaging materials, gift card, gift wrap & decoration, and our presentation delivery carton. We do not hide this cost in the overall cost of your basket or hamper, as some companies do. That's why our hampers are incredible value for money.

Q: Will my order be delivered in 24 hours during December?
A: Due to the immense volume of orders at Christmas time we are not able to offer a 24 hour turnaround. We will be dispatching hundreds of order every week-day, and will do everything in our power to deliver as close to your requested delivery date as possible. We will notify you of the delivery date, and send you a tracking code via email.

Q: Will you always deliver on the date requested?
A: We will always do our utmost to deliver on the date requested from January-November. If we are unable to do so we will contact you. During the Christmas period we will endeavour to deliver on the date requested. However, due to the large demand for our service at this time of year we may opt to deliver prior to the date requested so that any problems can be remedied before Christmas Day. Over the remainder of the year we will do everything in our power to deliver on the day requested.
