Is it just me or does Christmas seem to be happening earlier than ever this year? Perhaps it is because it is a 'Covid Christmas' and everyone is thoroughly fed up with 2020. We are all looking forward to a little bit of Christmas Cheer, and (all being well) time with our families and loved ones.

We’re seeing decorations going up earlier than ever and Christmas songs on the radio from early November. Christmas always starts early at BasketsGalore, as we have to plan for it all year long and so we are thoroughly embracing it.

We found ourselves busier than ever during the first lockdown that started back in March. Now in November we are experiencing yet more nationwide lockdowns and so again our hampers are in demand. Combining lockdown with the usual seasonal demand has resulted in hundreds of corporate enquiries as well as many orders on the website for people sending to their friends and family.

We are determined to continue serving the nation, but we need your help. This year the delivery schedule will be very different to usual. In the past you have been able to select a preferred delivery date, and we deliver as close to this date at possible.

Unfortunately this year the delivery network is 3 times busier than usual already, and so specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. We have been working to a weekly delivery schedule instead throughout this period and will continue to do this in the lead up to Christmas. With the network being so busy already we also recommend shipping Christmas gifts earlier than normal, rather than the week before Christmas. As everyone is embracing the festive season early this year, we don’t think they will be disappointed either way.
